Dr. Jay D. Hammel joined the practice in 1993 and was named a
partner shortly
after. He obtained his M.D. degree and completed his internship at
Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York in 1984. He completed
his Radiology Residency and an Imaging Fellowship in 1989 at St.
Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Concurrently,
he served as the hospital's Chief Resident in Radiology from May
1988 to May 1989. Dr. Hammel is Board Certified by the American
College of Radiology and on the Board of the Nassau County Medical
Society.
Dr. Hammel now serves as Medical Director of Radiology at North
Shore Hospital at Plainview. |
