Dr. Jeffrey Kaufman attained his M.D. degree at the Duke University School of Medicine in May 1993. While attending medical school he also earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Duke University. Dr. Kaufman completed his internship in 1994 at North Shore University Hospital-Cornell University Medical College and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York. He finished his Residency in Radiology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital-Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, New York before returning to Duke University Medical Center, where he completed a Fellowship in Neuroradiology in June 1999.

Dr. Kaufman is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology and is licensed to practice in New York and North Carolina.
